A word from our sponsor... Dannon® Oikos® Greek Yogurt

I have partnered with Dannon to help promote the Dannon Oikos Greek Yogurt Series.  The Dannon company sent me a $5.00 gift card to purchase the Greek Yogurt Series. I have been compensated for my time commitment to the program, which includes writing about the promotion and product.  However, my opinions are entirely my own and I have not been paid to publish positive comments.
For recipe ideas & more information, you can visit www.Facebook.com/oikos or www.oikosyogurt.com.  I was selected for this sponsorship by the Clever Girls Collective, which endorses Blog With Integrity, as I do.

I am a huge yogurt fan, however, I really dislike fruit in the bottom of the cup.  Usually I feel that the fruit seems more smashed and not very high quality, so I never buy it. I just buy the yogurt that has the fruit all ready mixed in with the yogurt.
I was excited to try Dannon's® Oikos® Greek Yogurt Series to give the fruit in the bottom of the cup another chance and guess what... I HONESTLY liked it!
I bought different varieties to try out - plain, raspberry (fruit is already mixed in), vanilla with
strawberry at the bottom, & vanilla with peach at the bottom of the cup.

Dannon® Oikos® Plain and Fruit on the Bottom contains 0% fat, while the Dannon® Oikos® traditional blended varieties contains about 3% fat. Both are an excellent source of protein, twice that of most regular lowfat yogurts.  This is great for me because I don't like to drink milk & don't eat enough
protein, so this yogurt helps with my protein & calcium daily intake.

The texture was my favorite part about the yogurt. I found out that Dannon® Oikos® is created through an authentic Greek straining process which gives it a rich and creamy-thick texture.
I felt like I was eating delicious & healthy whip cream.  The texture was
cool & creamy & made my mouth water for more.

I LOVED the peach flavor! The peaches did not taste mashed at all but tasted like real peaches. The yogurt was sweet, but not sweet enough to make me feel like I was eating sugar for breakfast.
I loved how filling the cup of yogurt was.  I know I can eat it with my gluten free bread & feel like I
will get full for the day from a nice healthy & filling breakfast. A quick healthy breakfast is so nice, especially when I'm trying to get 4 kids ready for the day in the morning.

I bought the plain flavor and found this yummy recipe.
Doesn't it look delicious!  Mmmm
This would be a great appetizer for all the
football parties coming up.

I am so glad I was able to taste test Dannon's® Oikos® Greek Yogurt.  I love knowing
there are so many flavors and possibilities for a healthy breakfast.

For the Love of Paint...

After seeing these pictures, we will all want to paint!
Yesterday, I noticed in my garage that I have a lot of bottles
of spray paint in different colors that are just sitting on the shelf.
They look pretty in their bright & fresh colors
but also look like they can't wait
to be used.  My thought,
"What can I do with all that paint?"
I found some GREAT answers!
Spray painted folding chairs!
This would brighten up any gathering & look so pretty.
I saw this yesterday at House of Smiths and
instantly fell in love with it!  She used Martha's
paints again & made this adorable cake stand.
So cute!  I can't wait to make one!
And, go here to Michael's to get a 40% Coupon
off of your first paint supply kit- maybe I should go today. :)
Wouldn't this be fun to paint these in fall colors!
and these too
These pillows would be fun-and
she even gives you a tutorial on exactly how to do it!
Go HERE to check the tutorial out.
Look how cute this desk is-
Here's the LINK
And, of course frames!
Wouldn't this be a fun gift to give for the holidays
coming so soon?!
There are so many options with spray paint. Did you know
that you can also go to most paint stores and they can put
any color of paint into a spray paint can for you.
How cool is that!
Wow!  I guess I better go and get some colors on my hands. :)

Time to Laugh...

Ah... Monday
I am ready for a new week, especially because
Jackson starts kindergarten today.
But, doesn't it seem like Monday always comes really fast!

Mondays always seem kind of heavy- so much to do this week.
So, I decided to start the week by laughing :)
Here are some funny pictures I found that made me smile
& even laugh out loud.  Ba ha ha ha

Cat + Titanic
(I am not a cat fan at all, but Brian is & I thought this was funny)
Wow! I would LOVE a pair of these!
Have a great week & laugh! :)

Peanut Butter Bars & Free Recipe Printable

Now, I know I am struggling a little with making things "gluten free,"
so, I decided to make something I know I can make-
ANYTHING that is NOT gluten free!
These peanut butter bars just happen to be everybody's
favorite treat.  I am not kidding!  Even my
sweet grandma, who claims she doesn't eat sweets,
can be found eating these babies at parties-
and she requests that I bring them every time!
(Now that is really saying something!)  :)

We make a pan of these to share for birthdays,
(it was my Dad, sisters, & friends birthday the
other day when I made these-luckily I saved
a couple for Brian because they were gone quick)
parties, funerals, neighbors, & of course just to eat.

Brian says he can eat a whole pan by himself too!
(He would if I let him & of course wouldn't
even gain a pound- lucky guy!)

Here they are::
Mix all the ingredients & pat out evenly onto greased
cookie sheet.  Wet hands a little to smooth out.
 Bake
Mix frosting together and let sit for a little bit.
Then pour on cooled peanut butter bars.
Frost all over peanut butter bars. Mmmmm
 Cut into bars and enjoy!
Here is the recipe on a fun printable for you too.
Go HERE to download
the recipe & the chocolate frosting recipe.
Enjoy!
These prints are as a PDF file,
so you can print it on regular
paper and put it in your cookbook.

Audrey Hepburn Quote

I LOVE Audrey Hepburn
(google images)
My Mom also loves Audrey Hepburn, as well as my Grandma.
While I was growing up we would watch movies like
"Sabrina", "Roman Holiday," "Funny Face", "Paris When it Sizzles",
and of course, "My Fair Lady!"

I think this is why I am such a sap for chick flicks and
movies from the 50's & 60's.
I love being wrapped up in a soft
cozy blanket on a snowy cold day,
with a mug of hot chocolate
and watching "Sabrina."

I think Audrey is a classic- I love how graceful &
beautiful she is.  I love the way she speaks &
all that she accomplished in life.

This is one of my all time favorite quotes:
(* 8x 10 jpeg printable for you)
(for personal use only)
(It is best to print this on photo paper,
or at your favorite photo print
store for the best quality with all the pink.)
I can't wait to print this out for
Morgan! She loves pink and wants
her room to be all pink.

My husband agrees with the part,
"happy girls are the prettiest girls."
I do too! :)

Enjoy!

My living room is in some definite need of some pillows to brighten
up my solid black leather couches.  Now that school has started,
I think this might be my new project to work on.

I saw it yesterday at TaterTots & Jello & fell in love with it!
I would love to do something like this with the paints
especially for Morgan's room-she loves pillows.
Who would ever think to paint on a pillow and have it
look fun  & great?  Oh- Martha!

I also love how the rosettes look on pillows like these ones-

And check out these adorable flower pillows Laura made-
and guess what she used- hot glue- hey even I can
make a pillow with a hot glue gun! :)

it a little for these fun pillows.
