I am not a hair stylist. I know how to
brush, curl, & use an elastic, but that's about it.
When I was 6, I pretended I was a hair stylist.
I convinced my mom that I knew how to style my hair
& that "I" would be the one doing my hair for school pictures that day.
My Mom let me do my hair, let me leave the house, & let me have
my pictures taken with what I thought was the best hair
style my 6 year old self had ever created!
Then, the pictures came back.
Instead of looking 6, I looked like I was a
30 year old living in the 80's.
You know, the hair brushed out on the sides.
My bangs curled and fluffed as high as they would go,
and then of course it was all sprayed to stiffness
with my can of hairspray.
After that, I always asked my mom to do
my hair on school picture day.
And, it was always done the way we both liked it.
So, for today. I found some awesome tutorials
from other people on how to do hair. I can't wait
to try them & do something different with my
hair besides leaving it in a pony tail or straight.
Kate at The Small Things always has
such cute ideas for her hair & she
has the cutest personality too!

I love the braids here & how it looks kind
of messy, but also elegant.
